Luthier 1 Posted February 16, 2011 Only 3 PAM's? How did you do that?! Have you found a cure for the well-known PAM addiction? Never had PAM addiction. I had 4 PAMs, but whitefaced 104 went to Skathewatch, he came to L.A. without watch, bastard...

roberto 24 Posted February 17, 2011 There's 34 there.. and your son has 5-7? Can you remember what he's got? Anyway how many arms have you got, Luthier? Great collection, nice stuff indeed.
Luthier 1 Posted February 17, 2011 There's 34 there.. and your son has 5-7? Can you remember what he's got? Anyway how many arms have you got, Luthier?Great collection, nice stuff indeed. He has Tag Carrera, 3 or 4 Audemars, his favorite brand, then 2 Omegas - Seamaster and my new C-Axial from Robert, something else... Only 2 arm, but very hairy, so, hard to see the watch, need a few. Member X 91 Posted February 17, 2011 What I like about Luth is that he probably has the cash for several good gens, but realises the value of money and how buying gen is buying a lot of advertising and 'label', and so prefers to buy rep!
Luthier 1 Posted February 17, 2011 +1M. Yes, I had very rough time, know hunger very well, and never praised "brand names", I still wear $30 chinese sport shoes because they're comfortable. I like beauty of watches, but to pay crazy money for it, if I can get a rep. for the fraction of the cost of gen??? No freaking way. And I'm not a stingy person at all. Thanks, X. MikeMcNair 0 Posted February 17, 2011 What I like about Luth is that he probably has the cash for several good gens, but realises the value of money and how buying gen is buying a lot of advertising and 'label', and so prefers to buy rep! not trying to toot my own horn here, but i have had 3 gens (tag F1, Yachtmaster, Submariner) and i will likely NEVER buy another gen. there is no reason to when the reps are just as good at a fraction of the cost (making them ALMOST disposable) as for the collection Luth, it's fucking sick!!! you have taste that is similar to mine, whisch, as i bet you could guess, FUCKING AWESOME what box is that? i need a nice watch box and am unsure of where to even start looking for one. Luthier 1 Posted February 17, 2011 Very nice collection you have there. May I ask where you got the TAG Carrera Calibre 17? @Mike about box - got 2 from Amazon, amazing quality: http://www.amazon.com/Watches-Burlwood-Fin...089&sr=8-23 @bwmguy - From Weyman, personally in their office. Best source for cheapies, and they're very honest people. They have 2 websites. I bought 4-5 watches from him. Prices - around $45-$60. Great quality. www.goec5.com www.watch321.com http://www.watch321.com/List.asp?id=29112 http://www.watch321.com/List.asp?id=26805 Just called Weyman, he's no longer there, but Lucy and other girls/guys still there and doing well.
