GenTLe 1,511 Posted May 14, 2016 Just sharing here an idea Rolexman described over the other rwg. So you have your nice rep and... Dammit... The crown doesn't stay sedere down anymore. You can go the long way (finding the gen tube&crown, tapping the case and fitting everything... Providing you find money and someone able to do that job). Or the other way: take out the stem and shorten it a bit so that the crown will stay against the case, transforming it into a pull-out crown. The water resistant will be impacted a bit but if there are gaskets in the tube it will still be lightly water resistant (likely 3atm) and surely it is an easier fix Cheers, GenTLe Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
