Hi, Gang! This is a belated entry for last night --HUMPDAY. TT Breitling Navitimer on TT sterling sliver bracelet, acquired from -- who knows? Same as to when? Very enjoyable watch, with acceptable dial details; date, I believe, is sunken, which seems to be standard on a lot of Breit reps. Still, I'm happy. Dial does a beautiful blue sunburst in light. dave:

Seiko 5 50th Anniversary Edition SRP421K1. I bought it on ebay for $149 new. Same seller seems to have a batch of these as I see he is the only one posting them for sale and has sold at least 3 in the past few weeks, however seller has bumped up price to $199. Its a very beautiful watch.

Looks like it from the numbers and the chrome outline on the triangle and stick hour markers.

That's quite nice, for $179 - a steal!

PAMSDAY, Folks!

Today's Panerai ride is this Pam "Bronzo" type watch, whose model number I can't remember. Sorry, as this is just how it is with me. Big, beautiful, well made, excellent dial details, wonderful substantial leather strap -- it certainly impressed my lady/friend jeweler/watchsmith today when she saw it on my wrist; asked if it was an INVICTA, I showed her the watch & even took it off the wrist for her to examine. She whipped out her loupe for a closer inspection & was very much impressed, as was I. NOTE: she's an old family friend whom I have known for more than forty years; in fact, I knew her father, whose business it was. She's the local jeweler/watchsmith I take my reps to for work & is fully comfortable with them & trust her to the max. Myself? I was very pleased when I was able to land this and STILL AM. (old pics.) dave:

No.2 son's 12th birthday today so I got him a Seiko SNK809 modded with Dagaz dial from our very own super-Seiko-modder Andyboy! :notworthy:

The standard strap was slightly too big for his skinny wrist (I guess he takes after me! :D ) so fortunately my back-up strap option of a Bond NATO worked better. What a fantastic little watch (37mm), and it even has a display caseback! :)
