S.Corbeil 0 Posted May 27, 2016 (edited) Hi guys, Looking for some insight or suggestions regarding a strap change for a Seiko SSA074. Story goes like this: my parents gave me said watch as a Christmas gift. It doesn't fit my liking, but it's a gift, and I know they probably spent a lot of time searching and searching for that special watch, so I certainly wouldn't want to disappoint. I can't possibly imagine selling or trading it because of sentimental attachment. But I do not wear it often because it's too big and rough for a dress watch, but isn't a sport/dive watch neither because of rose gold color and open-heart dial. Please suggest a strap change or a mod or two to give it some more "personality" and thus, make me wear it more often! Thanks, Here's a picture of said watch, since it's not a model often discussed (not my photo - Google Image search): What bugs me the most is the two-tone color scheme - were it all brushed stainless, it wouldn't be half as bad. Plus, the bezel is shiny, almost like plated plastic. Edited May 27, 2016 by S.Corbeil
GenTLe 1,510 Posted May 27, 2016 Not bad with the bracelet but if you want something different I'd go for white croc
Nikosaldente 630 Posted May 27, 2016 Good point GenTLe! This is an idea what it would be like... Or you can go for white rubber strap...
Gazzla 23 Posted May 27, 2016 Fuck off with the white idea. A nice bit of gen brown croc will do the job:
Nikosaldente 630 Posted May 27, 2016 (edited) You can also try Blue or Black crock with white stitching! Or Ostrich... Edited May 27, 2016 by Nikosaldente
