alw 0 Posted February 21, 2011 Having taken leave from reps for a few years , I´m a bit at sea about the quality nowadays. Which would you say are the best out-of-the-box reps at the moment? What I´ve gathered, these are likely candidates: Omega UPO Rolex Milgauss Certain Panerais Any others? Have the movements (A7750) improved? Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
greg_r 81 Posted February 21, 2011 Hey, good to see you around again Anyhow, current stars include Breitling SOH v2 lots of Panerais including PAM 177 / 005 / 219 and a handful of others. PAM 250/251 etc with 'A7753' movements (no sunken datwheel). v2 Omega Ploprof Milgauss and current DSSDs There's a very good high-end Santos and PP Nautilus on the way (PWC has had samples). The A7750 remains pretty much as it was. There's a '7753' variety that doesn't suffer from the sunken datewheel, but it hasn't made it into that many reps yet. The secs@12 and secs@6 7750s are still a problem. There's quite a lot of good quality quartz appearing using high end case sets. Some of them even have smooth sweep centre seconds. genuine swiss ETA's are getting ever scarcer, but Swiss Sellita SW200s are gradually appearing in some reps. There's bound to be lots I've missed, but the other guys will jump in and fill the gaps I'm sure Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
