andygt 0 Posted February 21, 2011 All other parts to be gen apart from the case and movement?
Pentax 0 Posted February 21, 2011 All other parts to be gen apart from the case and movement? Yes bezel, crown tube dial and crystal Which watch model will be the most suitable meaning to find the parts cheaper Because if I use a 1680 it will be hard to find a nipple dial etc... Thanks p
andygt 0 Posted February 21, 2011 WM9 V1 (BK sells them as TW best or Precious Time as the Supreme) will fit the bill. Takes all gen parts apart from movement but CGs need to be reshaped. The wm9 V2 doesn't need any casework and will take the gen movement or a smaller eta movement.

andygt 0 Posted February 21, 2011 PT's is V1. V2 was only sold by BK and WM9 himself and isn't available anymore.
Member X 91 Posted February 22, 2011 I believe you need to be careful with crown/tube locations - only one of the ETAs gives accurate crown position, I think? I think WM9/BK sub v3 is the one with accurate placing so you need to check which movement that is, maybe?

Maybe I can make the casing and after drill the hole for the tube once we have found which eta we will use. Another thing I could do if I don't find any wm9 v3 is buy a yuki 1680 and make that model to a solid gold, I actually can't choose .....which one of both to do! Are the lugs laser engraved?? And is the case back stamped or engraved? Thanks for the help

solkryssare 109 Posted March 1, 2011 Build a Rollie. No doubt. And as said before you need a bk v3 sub. Its the only that can take a gen movement and has the best crown position. Or a vintage 16800. I have a franken v3 if interested, but it aint cheap
