alphakazi 0 Posted March 16, 2009 ya never know with sellers with 0 feedback but I would say it's gen - do they even make a tudor rep box? looks pretty shnazzy, enjoy!

greg_r 83 Posted March 16, 2009 Looks like you did well! Sorry, have no idea about the movement, but it's very tempting ain't it? (don't worry, I won't bid against you - might have been tempted if nobody here was after it, though).
KinCaidk 0 Posted March 16, 2009 the price has gone up at bit now. and I looked at some other Tudor /ETA movements. They look much nicer than that one. So I think I'll pass. let me know if you are going to bid though.. maybe I can resist buying it if you don't
greg_r 83 Posted March 16, 2009 I keep telling myself that I don't have the time to build a franken... Trying to resist....

KBH 7 Posted March 16, 2009 Thanks What about this? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/SOLID-TUDOR-AUTO-MOV...2|39:1|240:1318 Does anyone know if this would fit in my Hydronaut? That's an eta 2824-2 Sure would fit nice in a franken DJ or a vintage Tudor rep.
KinCaidk 0 Posted March 17, 2009 KBH>> Are you sure? If you are, then I won't waste a lot of time identifying it.
alphakazi 0 Posted March 17, 2009 ooops... I bought it. Your avatar's pic fits this perfectly - did you do the Dr. Evil when you won it?
KinCaidk 0 Posted March 17, 2009 ooops... I bought it. Your avatar's pic fits this perfectly - did you do the Dr. Evil when you won it? What do you think? hehe Edit: Muhahahahaha
KBH 7 Posted March 17, 2009 KBH>> Are you sure? If you are, then I won't waste a lot of time identifying it. Yep. I've got the same movement sitting on my desk, without the decorated bridges and "Tudor" engraving. That one went cheap. I wish I'd bought it for that price. trailboss99 997 Posted March 17, 2009 Oh that will go so well in your Tudor! Now, of cause, a gen dial and hands are going to be necessory to complete the perfect "cheap" franken. See? The disese DOES continue Col.
KinCaidk 0 Posted March 17, 2009 hehe. It sure does I looked everywhere for the Hydronaut hands, but I can't find them anywhere. Does anyone know where to find them? Regarding the dial, then I actually think I'll keep the one I have already. I simply love it! Maybe a new bezel though.. hehehe
