xaneda 1 Posted July 3, 2016 (edited) Hi all, So I got my new crown back from Amanda. It was very rose gold like. So to solve the issue of having a different color crown guard, I had to restart the patina. Before the lemon bath, I got my watchsmith to remove the movement just in case the watch isn’t waterproofed. Out after the 1st 15mins in the lemon bath. Then washing with toothpaste and brushing. Out after the 2nd 15mins in the lemon bath, After washing and brushing with toothpaste again. Movement back in after greasing of the casket. Back on the strap. Consistent color throughout. Happy bronzo again. LET THE AGING BEGIN!!!!!!!!!!! Edited July 3, 2016 by xaneda

boredpanda 1 Posted August 10, 2016 Day 2 Day 33 1 month of summer after lemon bath. Just curious.. why does it seem you always have the bezel 1-click off?? It'd kill me inside out
SamsonAusKognito 31 Posted August 10, 2016 I love the look after this hole process, but splitting the case from the movement is more for the advanced tinkerer, isn't it?
gwladboy 0 Posted October 3, 2016 Really great thread this. As someone interested in the 382 and a total noob I had no idea how this Patina was done.

rschaal 0 Posted October 10, 2017 Damn, this Looks great but unfortunately it´s too big for my wrists. hope that panerai will release a bronzo in 42 or 44 mm...
boutsk 0 Posted January 8, 2018 Nice patina! I've just ordered mine and I m trying to find the best way to remove factory patina. Seems that brushing with toothpaste left hairline scratches on the brushed finish. Or am I wrong?
deju 1,883 Posted January 8, 2018 Great watch! Love how the patina is different on all of these too very personal

Hunklee 0 Posted January 23, 2018 @xaneda Yes the golden brown strap by Malio is very nice. May I know the strap is from which series? Classic or Vintage? Thanks!
