Good news!!! AP straps are now available WITH inserts! No need to send yours!

It's with a great pleasure that i announce i am now making these with my own insert system!

 

No need to purchase a cheap strap to cut out the inserts in order to have a new one built!

 

I've been working with 2 members of the rep forums (thanks guys!!!) with them providing AP cases, inserts and rep straps to make sure everything was perfect.

 

I had the inserts 3d printed with a local guy who does great work and provides me with an excellent and fast service!

 

I stocked up for 100 straps already so it's all ready to be made

 

Edges are smooth and durable

 

The price will go as follow:

 

alligator belly: 199$

AP alligator hornback : 209$

Toad, ostrich, ostrich leg, lizard: 175$

python: 175$

calfskin : 175$

vintage : will depend on what i have in hand and what's needed.

 

Here's one i completed this week-end.

I think so MJ.

The JF and the Noob ones are a tad different (this is what Donerix - hamilton leather works) told me some time ago. And I had other confirmations too...

^^^ as far as I am aware the JF endlinks are different to the TF for example, people that had custom straps made for the TF 15400 had to do some modding to the endlinks to fit the straps

 

Not sure if this affects the inserts in any way though

Your work looks like very high quality! But like others have said, each factory has different inserts so you need to find out on which one you stocked up on, hopefully for you it's the JF since they are way more popular. Would love to see some more makers making insert straps for the JF 15400 as well...

I think it was from a noob to be honnest but i can make some changes to get the right inserts.

Here's a fitting picture i took while making it

 

 

and 2 new ones! The blue toad is going on a montauk highway. The client requested blue toad that matches the watch, copper thread for the numbers in the dial and dark brown edges to match the subdials.

 

The electric blue ostrich leg is made to fit the diver buckle
