My godfather's Rolex Precision

As my 1000th post on this wonderfull board,

I'm gonna post some pics of my godfathers Rolex Precision :)

 

He's no watch photographer, but tried his best, so be gentle.

 

It must be late 50's but I don't know the reference number...

yeah, I agree - they just need to make them 45mm and 20mm thick, apart from that...

I have the same watch as this it was given to my grandfather for 25 years of service with WIMPEY builders.

Only difference is I have a white/silver dial. Is this one hand wind as well?

I have the model number somewhere as I sent mine for a new winder crown and service at Rolex some time before and they gave model details on the invoice

These were from a time when men were men and fathers were afraid to open the doors to let daughters out!

They are small by todays standards around 34mm

I sent him a mail and asked about some model details.

Don't know if he knows them though.
