ww12345 0 Posted February 26, 2011 Does anyone here finish drilling the springbar holes that only come partially tapped on the vintage Rolex reps? I almost lost one today due to the watches not taking gen springbars!! :S Why can they make the watches 99.999999999% right and not bump up the standards like drilling larger springbar holes? Anyway, if anyone knows how to do it or knows someone who does it, I am looking. Thanks in advance!
KBH 7 Posted February 26, 2011 If you put your location in your profile information it would be easier to know exactly where "here" is. I've done it with a Dremel and some 1.2 and 1.4mm drill bits. That's not recommended by any experts but it worked for me. Down side is if you break off a drill bit you might be screwed. Trick is to go slow and use oil.
