Daffy 105 Posted July 19, 2016 I bought a Wilton model, 96b183. I wasn't satisfied with the hands, so I ordered a set off another model that uses the same movement. Anyone with tips on how to open up this thing and take out the movement? Thanks in advance! D

Daffy 105 Posted July 27, 2016 I'm really happy with the way it turned out. I had no idea if the hands would be the proper size. I took a shot in the dark with a set that looked to be from the same movement.

Robin195959 2 Posted July 27, 2016 Lovely bud. A nice variation would be to leave the original black hour and minute hands.

FunnyStarSystem 7,538 Posted July 28, 2016 Perfection! Did the hands fit perfectly or was it a struggle getting them on the posts?
Xpletiv 16 Posted July 28, 2016 Looks very nice. To think that this idea was doubted.
Daffy 105 Posted July 28, 2016 Perfection! Did the hands fit perfectly or was it a struggle getting them on the posts? I have no idea, since it was a watchmaker doing the work. I dropped it off in the afternoon, and got a call the next morning that it was ready to pick up.
Nikosaldente 630 Posted July 28, 2016 Very nice! It took the watch to a higher level! How about a lume shot then? Cheers!
