Nightwatch 1 Posted February 26, 2011 I've owned this DSN Blancpain for about 6 months ago now, seems they are becoming more popular these days... DSN makes a nice watch but they do have that Brand New and shiny look so I decided to age it as follows... Stripped and aged all parts of the case Removed the paint off the hands and repainted matt white Aged the dial and toned down the shiny new look Lumed the Hands and Numbers 12-3-6 and 9 in Blue (two tone) Added a military Style Strap. The hands now longer shine, numbers and symbols have been aged and lumed Case aging, this used to shine like chrome... Case Back also considerably aged
greg_r 83 Posted February 26, 2011 y'know, this is one of the VERY few 'vintaged' reps I've seen that really looks like all that has happened to it has been genuine wear and tear over a number of years. Most just look like they've been beaten up - not this one. Great work, G
randy3y 0 Posted February 27, 2011 Yes - what greg said. Nicely done.
speedzmaster 0 Posted February 27, 2011 I immediately scrolled directly to the photos before reading that this is a rep and a vintagized one. Superb job! You must write us a tutorial of your techniques.
Member X 91 Posted February 27, 2011 Another awesome job :wanker: I think the DSN out-the-box look does look nice but this looks the age it should!
