MH_91 0 Posted July 28, 2016 (edited) Hello everyone, i have decided to pull the trigger on the Omega Seamaster 300 The Spectre edition. I was debating which one to get first, it was between the Seamaster 300 or The Spectre edition. In the end, i have decided to get spectre edition, because i really liked the lollipop hand. As far as i know, there are 2 solid versions of this watch. This one is V2. I got it from from Robbie, he's a TD here in RWG. (His website is currently down, i post the link of which one i got the moment his website is back online) The Strap, i got it from this Website. The Strap is made from Calfskin, i personally think its a decent strap. Note: the Lug size is 21mm but buy the 22mm strap size. Things to consider before buying this watch: 1. Its fingerprint magnet, i have to clean the watch pretty much everyday. it gets dirty super fast. 2. The Nato strap that you will get with this strap, is super cheap quality, i high recommend buying a premium one or switch to leather strap like what i did. 3. The movement in this watch is, Miyota 8215, So mentally be prepared that the watch will stutter ALOT. So if you are a picky person, i HIGHLY recommend you to wait and hope they offer with different movement. ( i have attached 2 minute video of how the stutter looks) i have done my home work, and everyone says its normal that it stutters. but it keeps its prefect in time. So far i have noticed +/- 2 min At the beginning, it felt meh in my hand, but slowly it grow in me, and now i am fully in love with it. if you have questions PM me, or ask away here! cheers. ShovelnTC 31 Posted July 28, 2016 Love the watch but that stutter would drive me mad and it would end up on M2M very quickly.
MH_91 0 Posted July 28, 2016 Love the watch but that stutter would drive me mad and it would end up on M2M very quickly. i know it could be very annoying for some people. But As long it keeps a good time and it works perfectly fine. I don't mind the stutter Really beautiful pics. Very well done. Nice review. RepC 0 Posted August 13, 2016 Thanks for posting. I just got the same watch from Amanda at Kuvarsit. I have only put it on a few times but the watch is absolutely beautiful. The movement on the second hand doesn't bother me as I am mesmerized by the awesome lollipop.
Tiktok 0 Posted August 23, 2016 Hey MH i want to buy the strap looks cool, how did you get the omega buckle though? i see in the website its a standard buckle, your one has the omega logo

Tikwatejnu 0 Posted August 23, 2016 Cool Watch and cool strap! I liked this combination much better, than the Nato strap. Everytime i See this Nato it reminds me of Bond Films, where Sean Connery wears a Sub with it. It just feels somehow unnnatural when you see a Nato and a Omega on it. This is of course my own opinion. Anyways I wanted to inquire how the watch feel on the wrist? is it rather chunky or decently elegant. Would this be a pure casual watch or, even one worn with a Shirt and Suit? Why does the Miyota stutter?
Davidhibs 0 Posted August 28, 2016 That's a great looking watch, especially with the leather strap. Might need to look at getting one of these.

teewe 0 Posted October 24, 2016 Hello guys, totally new both to this board and also to the "replica watch game" I will most probably ask a stupid question or two. But I was thinking about buying myself a Omega Seamaster Spectre for my 30th birthday, were do you suggest I find the best replica? Understand that you cant tell me open here on the tread, and just refering to "Robbie" or someone wont tell me much, if someone would be helpful enough and PM me or something with an adress or contact information I would be really greatful! Look at the top of the forum link for trusted dealers Robbie is Aoobuy but kuvarsit are the ones that actually make this watch... Just my opinion but go for the non spectre version (without lollipop second hand) it doesn't stutter I know because I have one
nivenj 27 Posted October 25, 2016 Great Post. I was looking to get the SPC300, but after reading the advice I think I will go with the SPM300 instead
TRANSPORTER 1 Posted October 25, 2016 Is the second hand a direct drive one like the seiko 4205 movements and a few like the dg2813 movements? If it is then it is a simple fix if you don't mind pulling the movement apart, you will find a very thin piece of metal that is bent to apply direct pressure to the second hand pinion, what happens is that sometimes the pressure isn't enough and it allows the second hand pinion to rise above the next wheel in line that drives it thus you get the stutter of the second hand. Hope this explanation helps.

Obviously the risk is reduced if you know how much additional pressure you can get away with :-)

I'm new in this Forum. I just have ordered a seamaster 300 like yours from Josh. I would like to buy other straps such as a NATO and was wondering what's the correct width. I've seen conflicting info. Your's seem a perfect fit. What size are those?

Lakdeuz 6 Posted January 29, 2018 Guys is it me or the « liquid metal » bezel on the reps is completely off. Look at the pics : the numbers on the bezel completely disappears on low light. Its the same with the Lmpo and seamaster 300 version. I don’t know why nobody has talked about this problèm. It makes the watch totally ugly on some light conditions

It makes the watch totally ugly on some light conditions It's like that because of how the ceramic bezel shines in the light and the reflection on the bezel may obscure some of the silver numbers in certain angles. It's probably similar on the gen, but the numbers probably don't "disappear" as much as it does on the rep. But it's not really an issue for me and it isn't really obvious in person, to me at least. I can still make out the numbers on the bezel whenever I glance at the watch around my wrist.
