GC 4,461 Posted July 29, 2016 And here is my rep of the same model. Could not get the lighting right, but it's spot on.
George. 34 Posted July 29, 2016 Wow! I love it! Where did you pick that up?
GC 4,461 Posted July 29, 2016 Gorgeous buddy. Thank you Robin, I finally got the crow swapped out for the athaya 702. Considering this is a straight OTB Cartel apart from plexi and crown, I think they nailed it.
GC 4,461 Posted July 29, 2016 Wow! I love it! Where did you pick that up? Picked it up from M2M sales section. I got it for $150 so I felt OK spending some extra money for the crown and plexi. I believe the original owner got it from Toro's site.

Considering this is a straight OTB Cartel apart from plexi and crown, I think they nailed it. I think the cartel vintage Daytonas are a great base. For me the bezels are the biggest flaw, but a relatively easy change.

NCRich 13,743 Posted July 29, 2016 That is very nice! Did you have to drill for the Athaya?
GC 4,461 Posted July 29, 2016 That is very nice! Did you have to drill for the Athaya? Honestly I don't know, I had watchguyusa1 do the mod for me.

Your beautiful watch would look great on one of these bud: Would look awesome but I tend to prefer the weight of the SS bracelet. I've tried and they become box Queens once on leather. I had an Omega 2998 speedmaster on leather and never wore it till I found a fitting bracelet.

trailboss99 994 Posted July 30, 2016 They exist alrighty and I have a lovely 60s example at the shop I bought in a load of stuff. Not a Rolex worse luck (its Swiss, can't remember the make) but it has the most amazing deep dark chocolate brown dial. I'll try to remember to bring it home and get some pics.
