Stewart 0 Posted August 12, 2016 Newly purchased Forged Carbon Diver and thought I would post a mini review. The dimensions are slightly larger than gen at 14.25 mm thick (gen is 13.75 I think) and 42.2 mm wide. The biggest surprise was the weight. 114 grams or approximately 4 ounces. I expected a carbon watch on a rubber strap to be a bit lighter. The detailing is quite exquisite. The dial is well done, and the bezel screws are properly sunken. The ceramic bezel is exceptional and the brushing really captures the light. The case is a marvel to behold. Under inside lighting it looks plain black but in bright light or sunlight the carbon pattern is really is beautiful. I opted for the XS strap and I am glad I did with a 6.5'' wrist. The strap feels sufficient and moves well with the wrist but I wouldn't say it is as nice as a gen by any measure. On the wrist it feels big compared to my Pelagos on rubber strap. The lume is exceptional (for a rep) as expected. This version has the Miyota 9015 movement and has been keeping "perfect" time so far. (I have not measured the seconds but the minutes are correct) Overall I find the watch to be a nice change to my usual sub and Pelagos.
