Recommended Posts

Hi guys,

I'm looking to buy a Paul Picot Plangeur C-Type with the black strap, general price around $380; has anyone seen any good offers.

I saw the earlier thread and remembered how much I like the look of them.

Josh sells them for about $350 shipped. I got mine from SoCalTimer for $300 last year. He's awful to deal with, though.

Sure is a nice watch:

I was going to keep mine but a noob offered to buy it from me for a good price.

Seems numbers 45 and 50 are goldplated? Nice touch...

Seriously - stunning pics, Doc.

And great watch. If not PVD ( just can't stand it) - would buy tomorrow.

Edit: I got an idea - I can get this bezel goldplated, 15 mils, I do it to my hardware sometimes, when need top quality plating. With black dial and SS case it will look great.

Is it removable?

The mystery of the gold #'s on the bezel...

The pics were taken under a full spectrum light--same as daylight, at noon I believe. I using it for reading.

However, overhead were incandescent light bulbs from a floor lamp. They give off a yellow light. The two "gold plated" numbers caught the reflection from the incandescent bulbs. I hadn't even noticed that. Shows you how observant I am.

I have no idea it the bezel is removable. There are some gold PPs.
