MikeyMouseWatch 0 Posted March 2, 2011 http://www.endless.com/dp/B003ZC8PQG/183-6...ASIN=B003ZC8PQG This watch has me wondering, I see the list price at many sources at around 800$, but why is a plated watch, with no eco-drive or perpetual priced so high at the manufacturer's suggested retail price? I'm wondering what I have missed here. Not too familiar with the brand.
andygt 0 Posted March 2, 2011 Simply to make you think you are getting a great deal, I'm sure that would change once you received that lovely QVC special
wizawuza 0 Posted March 3, 2011 if you think that's overpriced you should look up some MSRP's on Lucien Piccard watches.. you'll shit bricks.
Luthier 1 Posted March 3, 2011 Nobody cares list prices, it's all bullshit. They can say $5000 list, and sell it for $250. Marketing bullshit.
MikeyMouseWatch 0 Posted March 3, 2011 Well I'm starting to believe it's a bullshit scam myself. Seems EVERYWHERE I see this brand of watch it's on some sort of huge big sale, something just seems wrong there. I also can't even find one review on this watch, anywhere. Furthermore, the only images I can find are the paint-brushed type, no PHOTOS, which always makes me the most suspicious of quality. I think I'll pass on this for a while and keep looking elsewhere.
