ORIGINAL POST: Since yesterday, gang, I've been doing a "two-fer:" in the morning and around the house, my gen TAG HEUER Aquaracer 500M, and in the afternoon & rest of the day, rep ROLEX Hulk from yesterday's post. The reason? I removed a link from the gen TAG and discovered the middle link had an "inner tube" inside of it that was present when I first removed the bracelet pin; however, when I tried to reinstall the bracelet pin, it wouldn't go into and through this center link "inner tube." To complete the reinstallation, I removed the "inner tube" and just used the bracelet pin. To ensure it wouldn't fall out, I used Loctite Thread Locker on both ends & wore the TAG around the house to test it. The bracelet pin didn't fall out. Tomorrow, I'll try to post some pics here of the problem I tried to describe. dave: GEN TAG HEUER Aquaracer 500 M: REP ROLEX HULK, of course: Hi, Gang! Here's some pics of said problem middle link and its "inner tube" that gave me fits. As you can see in the pics, the small "tube" fit inside the middle link's hole. It was present inside the middle link when I pulled out the original link pin; however, when I tried to reinstall the longer link pin, it would NOT FIT into the center link "inner tube." This is why I had to remove this little tube and seal the ends of the larger link pin with Loctite Thread Sealer to prevent it from falling out. As as aside: I photoed the "tube" inside the middle link but began having problems with the old camera. One, in the morning and around the house -- like the past two days -- the gen TAG HEUER Aquaracer 500M, testing the links; and later and rest of the day/evening, this ROLEX Blue Smurf Sub w/ ceramic bezel I picked up M2M a few years ago (a classic case of being in the right place at the right time).
