gwladboy 0 Posted September 13, 2016 Hi all, Just joined in the last week. Bought a Pam 441 in Bangkok a couple of years ago but unfortunately my son damaged it banging it against a table. Either way, that started me interested in watches and a recent spell with a smart watch confirmed that I need a dumb watch in my life again. I've spent the last few days reading the forums, trawled Ale's guide and placed my first order with a TD. It's been an enlightening few days, so much to learn, what a can of worms I have opened. One big takeaway from the last few days has been the positivity and helpfulness I can see everywhere in the threads (specifically Panerai because that's what I've been focused on). It's all very un-forum like - where is all the hate and flaming? Anyway, I'm impressed. So hi to all and thanks for all the info shared.
