There must be loads of microbrand gens to choose from - you could get probably at least a couple with that much money!

How about the Benarus/Stevral Megalodon? Couple left in the larger size and the pre-order is still open for the smaller size, IIRC.

I know someone who just sold an Omega Seamaster 300m for exactly that price.

Try and keep an eye on AVFORUMS, there are some gems that pop up there from time to time. i bought an Aqua Terra for my wife for £750 cheaper then other places.

I saw an SMP300 co-axial sell for £1500 and they are normally 2000+.

Speedmaster moon watch...

Yep. Just ordered the rep. If I like it as I think I will I'll buy a gen. $1500 all day long on the bay for the 39mm, which is what I'd want. Clocks on my wrist bother me.

I am really tempted by the Speedmaster Triple date, I have been wearing bigger watches for so long now i don'd think it would last long

Blue or silver dial i think

£1200... right, I'd spend it on loose women...beer...strippers... and the rest I'd just waste.

Daywatch

Save up for the 2nd hand Rolex (Submariner) and do it fast.

Supposedly the £ will go the same route the € went 2 years ago so expect 2 imminent price hikes in the near future (when current stock is sold out and has to be replenished). You probably have between 6 or less and max 9 months time left for hike 1. When new goes up in price the used will do almost the same.

If You "have" to spend the money now, my option without blinking would be on a good, vintage franken m2m, maybe Tudor Heritage Chrono instead of CW, Longines and/or similar gen.

Wouldn't worry, I always wore big watches like uboats & panerai. Got my speedie pro, it wears big than it is. Then bought 2 Rolex and now hate wearing my panerai or uboats.

With the right watch your tastes will change, grow an evolve :)
