cansler1846 0 Posted October 13, 2016 Anyone know where i can find a rep of this model GMT and a modder that can tighten it up ?
jdog 1 Posted October 13, 2016 No made unfortunately. It CAN be made by sourcing various parts, but wouldn't be a cheap build.
Chiruku 25 Posted October 13, 2016 But if you do find the parts Jase above comes highly recommended!
jdog 1 Posted October 13, 2016 But if you do find the parts Jase above comes highly recommended! Thanks C! Hope all is well bud! OP. Just to give you an idea on cost, heres a very quick breakdown. Base watch, rep 1665 with dg2813 movement. $140 Aftermarket hand set $35 Flat caseback $25 Bezel Assembly w/ insert $250- $300 Crystal $25 Gen Crown/tube $75 Custom DW $40 Gen dial $500 more or less. You may be able to go to a Yuki dial for $120. Not exactly the same but the closest real rep one you can find. Or find something similar cheaper. None of this includes a bracelet or modding work if paying someone else to do it. Again, just ballparks off the top of my head after sourcing parts for quite some time. No I get it, I appreciate the insight. This is by far my favorite so I might be getting with you on the build, might take me a while to source everything.. jdog 1 Posted October 13, 2016 didn't I see this onces at Kuvarsit? It was a really poor nipple dial. I had a friend who wanted to do a similar build about 6 months ago. I reached to every TD I could and nothing was available.

jdog 1 Posted October 14, 2016 http://www.kuvarsitw...one-eta-2836-2/ Or http://www.kuvarsitw...o-tone.-2836-2/ Could I use one of these to start ? If I was forced to choose, the first is "closer" although the crown guards would never be that accurate on that case. They closer to a sub. I suppose you could pull some parts from that watch and try and find a 1665 midcase and combine and source some other parts to finish it off.
