Khronos 1,339 Posted October 21, 2016 I received the watch yesterday and the pearl is misaligned to the right, touching the edge of the "platinum" triangle and leaving too much space on the left side. I'd like to know if there's someone in the EU who can fix the issue. I somehow missed this in my QC, I must be getting old and sloppy. Thanks in advance for help. GenTLe 1,501 Posted October 21, 2016 To fix you firstly need a new insert...
Khronos 1,339 Posted October 21, 2016 Yeah, I guess so too..I just thought it could be repaired somehow, the way that BK does. These bloody things are expensive and not easy to come by. I don't have much luck with these overpriced reps lately and I'm getting sick of constant repairs and mods.
GenTLe 1,501 Posted October 21, 2016 Write to your TD and show him a pic of the problem. Ask him if he can source a new insert for you.
Khronos 1,339 Posted October 21, 2016 BK has them, but they're 85$ a piece if I'm not mistaken. I'll drop my TD an email if he can source it at a better price. Thanks mate!

Haltec 0 Posted October 21, 2016 Photo of the misaligned pearl? Hard to take. On photos (At least to me) pearl almost always looks missaligned. :(
Khronos 1,339 Posted October 21, 2016 I have one, but I took it in the middle of the night, so it's pretty lousy And it's not the angle or the lighting, the right side of the pearl is touching the triangle and there's more distance to the left side.

It really puts me off from buying any more.
Khronos 1,339 Posted October 21, 2016 I took a better look in the natural light after I got back from work and it's not that bad after all. I mean the pearl is leaning towards the right side a tiny bit, but it's acceptable to me. And not obvious from most angles at all.
greg_r 81 Posted October 21, 2016 Seriously? yep. if anything it was a tad worse.
Khronos 1,339 Posted October 21, 2016 I'm sure he got a replacement insert from Toro
Nikosaldente 630 Posted October 21, 2016 It's only a hairline to the right, but still..... Don't worry! Many will see it...no one will notice!
Khronos 1,339 Posted October 26, 2016 I don't see it anymore, it's all good
james1980 0 Posted October 30, 2016 Mine has the same issue. I tried to explain the issue to my better half and she looked at me like I was crazy - I don't notice it anymore!
BadPickle 2,747 Posted October 30, 2016 Nobody will care, everyone will automatically assume it's a fake anyway.
tonyh7 237 Posted October 30, 2016 Wear it with pride. My Omega Seamastei is one of my favourite reps. Seriously no one will notice other than you.
Keith1969 0 Posted May 20, 2017 Mine is the same. As a matter of fact most of the really good reps of this model are exactly the same. Almost touching on the right side and twice the space on the other. Hardly noticeable on the wrist though.
Keith1969 0 Posted June 10, 2017 Most people don't even notice a watch. The select few that do are generally impressed. For what it's worth the couple of people that did notice mine wanted to try it on and immediately determined, based on their quick examination, that it was a genuine rolex. Of course I corrected them...I am not crazy enough to spend 13 grand on a watch! Mine is a dssd noob v7 with the sa3135.
