WatchaholicMallorca 2 Posted November 1, 2016 Afternoon chaps. So my missus' uncle has just been offered a gmt 2 by his mate who's looking to free some cash. I've been told it's a two tone gmt 2 from 2007. Apparently it has a green dial. Now as far as I am aware the green dial was released for the anniversary edition in full gold. I told him to meet his mate at an AD to have it checked but was curious to know myself. Can anybody verify that was an actual model Rolex made? Seen few picture on google but that doesn't mean shit now does it. Any input appreciated. Cheers EDIT: ( Bloody plonker was referring to the print and gmt hand being green) All sorted, going down to AD tomorrow to confirm it's gen.picking it up for 4K with box and papers! fatarms 7,788 Posted November 1, 2016 I have the rep of this, did the gold paint mod on it as well. From what I read over at TRF, it was never released with a green dial. These would've been made with aftermarket green dials. But it looks like you don't have to worry about that now. At 4K for that watch, though, if it is a real one then it's a steal at that price.
