Silverspeed 10 Posted March 9, 2011 Recently got this very nice watch from Robert at Prestige WatchCo.....the AP ROO secs@12 not with the modded A7750 but a Quartz. As far as I've seen the first quartz with the seconds at the 12 o'clock subdial. Yes the seconds hand does tick, but in no way does that bother me. Surprisingly the large chrono hand has a nice sweep....a nice touch but I never felt the need to use the chrono function.. The watch itself is very well made and in many aspects even better than the notorious A7750 AP ROO, the sapphire crystal looks much better, there is much less flare on it than my A7750 AP ROO's. The bezel with the bezel screws are nicely finished and polished with good alignment of the screws. All in all I'm very pleased with it, a great looking AP ROO secs@12 with a very reliable movement, surprisingly well made and at half the cost of a A7750 AP ROO [email protected] it needs is a good leather strap, although the rep rubber strap is not bad....I'll definitely search for a good croc strap for this. jigsaw 0 Posted March 13, 2011 I didn't realize there were quartz ROO with sec @ 12. Looks great. Anyone know what other AP ROO quartz sec@12 versions are available ? The watch looks fantastic and I was very tempted to buy the white version when Robert listed them - sounds like the quality is every bit as good as expected. Great photos too .
