char1ie 1 Posted December 2, 2016 (edited) Hi all, Newly registered but I was a member of the forum a few years ago. I bought this homage franken PAM watch from someone on here, and unfortunately, it got dropped a couple of years ago. I put it in a drawer and forgot about it. Who built it? Front glass is broken and the winder doesn't engage. The movement is Bulova. It was a lovely watch once upon a time. Thanks all, Charlie Edited December 2, 2016 by char1ie
fatarms 7,779 Posted December 2, 2016 Looks like something that someone over at HomageForum may have built.
Daffy 105 Posted December 2, 2016 Welcome to the forum. I hope you enjoy your stay. It's highly unlikely that anyone will know who built this, there are a ton of guys out that doing this sort of thing.
char1ie 1 Posted December 2, 2016 Pretty sure it came from a member on here.

BenjaminButton 149 Posted December 2, 2016 Some one might know who did that to your watch.... are you looking for revenge? Here is mine and obviously welcome back
char1ie 1 Posted December 2, 2016 Nah, I dropped it while passing it to a mate in the middle of a poker game. oops.
Daywatch 4 Posted December 2, 2016 That weathered caseset looks great imho. A replacement movement from Jacksontse would cost You about USD $40. It´s doable if You invest some time and have some basic tools.for another $50 to $80.
edwinowl 180 Posted December 2, 2016 Not too sure but I've built several with that same movement. Where are you located ?
char1ie 1 Posted December 3, 2016 I'm in the UK but I think it came from the US. I would be keen to get it working. Can I replace the crystal or is the case and crystal a one piece set? I may remove the movement and see if it'll work.
tonyh7 247 Posted December 3, 2016 While you can replace the movement it's a shame to scrap a genuine Swiss movement. Might just need a keyless reset. There is a very nice watch there with a little TLC.
