Mr Stubbs 0 Posted December 14, 2016 -23C this morning. Going to be a cold one. I hear it's nice in Queensland this time of year!
Mr Stubbs 0 Posted December 14, 2016 Tuesday's wear (of the least often worn in my collection) is this SWISS LEGEND Expedition I picked up from somewhere a long time ago. Worn once then placed back into its individual watch box... . A big, heavy 200 meter rated water resistant quartz watch, it sits very comfortably on the wrist; and with its large dial/face and luminescent hands, is easy to tell time (something this old guy needs, heh!) dave: That's an impressive piece Dave. Swiss Legend are great watches and this is one of their nicest. And I think we have the same Christmas table cloth!

greg_r 84 Posted December 14, 2016 Longines Conquest moonphase chrono: Very nice not a stock rep strap that ? are you happy with it ? Loving the watch - the strap that it came with, however, was made from the hide of the cardboard cow and was completely unwearable. I binned it as soon as it arrived. The strap that's on it now was something I already had - but still thinking about what would suit it best.
dave47 6,584 Posted December 15, 2016 HUMPDAY specials, Gang -- a "two-fer" day: In the a.m. this 41mm Rolex DJ on jubilee that had a new heart put in a while ago. Rarely worn; evening: this ROLEX ND Sub I acquired from Reg about a year ago or so. Just top quality; also not part of a regular rotation. I'll try to address these in the months ahead. dave:

MoveAlong 23 Posted December 15, 2016 Hi, Gang! Today on the first day of the new week, a "two-fer" day: in the a.m., this FOSSIL gray-dialed chronograph on a nice-looking bund leather strap; and for the rest of the day, this rarely worn TUDOR chronograph. I'm trying to wear some of my collection that hasn't seen the light of day for a LONG, LONG time. dave: Dave, good to see that Fossil getting some wrist time! Wifey says she's going to have my name and telephone number tattooed to the back of my neck so people know where to send me when they find me wandering around. Yes, Swiss Legends really ARE decent watches, and this Expedition is outstanding and heavy. Love it. dave

It was a great sale, and the watch itself is comfortable and attractive on the wrist without being glitzy. dave
