rober100 0 Posted March 12, 2011 (edited) Is it possible to replace the seconds at 6 Daytona movement with a seconds at 9 or a Segull ST-19 hand wiring movement? Will they fit? Edited March 12, 2011 by rober100
prestigewatchco 2 Posted March 12, 2011 Is it possible to replace the seconds at 6 Daytona movement with a seconds at 9 or a Segull ST-19 hand wiring movement? Will they fit? No you will need a dial as well sub dials are in a different place
rober100 0 Posted March 12, 2011 Ok, thanks I wonder why manufacturers don't go back to the seconds at 9 movement if seconds at 6 is so problematic Or maybe something new. Seconds at 6 movement has been around for a while now.
prestigewatchco 2 Posted March 12, 2011 Daytona seconds at 9 are available and the latest seconds at 6 seem to be much better as well
rober100 0 Posted March 12, 2011 the latest seconds at 6 seem to be much better as well but everybody is complaining that they fail
MikeyMouseWatch 0 Posted March 12, 2011 I suppose Rolex does it this way on purpose as a copy-protection scheme vs reps.
rober100 0 Posted March 12, 2011 If I'm not wrong, . Zenit El Primero has seconds at 9, so the previous replicas were ok
rober100 0 Posted May 15, 2011 (edited) Well, this thread was started in March, 2011. Now in May, 2011 some new Daytona reps came out with hand wind Asian Venus 75, so I have to ask again Does anybody know if the sec at 6 movement can be replaced for an Asian Venus 75? I suspect that it may be possible since both watches are basically the same thing, but I can't confirm. Edited May 15, 2011 by rober100
