gmchris 68 Posted January 4, 2017 Passing through Orlando airport and looking in the NASA shop at this, but got dragged out by the missus before I could get it outa the cabinet. Anybody know what this is or who makes it?
fatarms 7,789 Posted January 4, 2017 Looks to be the Orion Planisphere Watch. Made by the same company that makes Orion Telescopes.

Mr Stubbs 0 Posted January 4, 2017 It looks esoteric, but very fascinating. And it would be nice to reply to requests for 'the time' that it's 'half past Uranus'!

gmchris 68 Posted January 5, 2017 I already have a full sized planisphere which is about 12inches diameter and crammed with detail and 365 increments so I can't see this being of much use but it's an interesting style statement. Reminds me of having an e6b sliderule on a navitimer - nice but too small to use really. Still think it's cool tho....
