I had a black date wheel fitted along with a 2xAR crystal. Then the hands were repainted and a ceramic insert installed. Total cost was around £400. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Alan32 832 Posted September 29, 2018 Belated thanks to Reg at narikaa for the brilliant service (ordered on the 4th, delivered on the 6th!) I had spent this years budget on reps and gens but when I came across the "silver snoopy award" omega, as everyone needs a cartoon watch, I had to have one Cons: it has a small 24hr @3 and the small seconds @6 and the lume is not particularily good and doesn't include the bezel (gen has small seconds@3 and 12hr @6) Pros : Because it is a quartz microstepper it sweeps very well and at £113 shipped it was a bargain, and the back plate is much better than the more expensive reps as it has stars on the background ( even if it does say AB 925 instead of Ag 925!)
