That's a gen. The rep of the blue AT is ok. But it doesn't get the blue dial to look right which is why I went with the gen. A world of difference and the dial is a thing of beauty which the rep doesn't truly replicate.

Ok thanks that's really helpful .I'm torn it's hard isn't it if I was Going to buy a rep i would want it to be almost perfect like those grape oyster perpetual look really good but how often would I really wear a watch like that . A watch like this I could wear every day but if the rep wasn't up to standard what's the point ? Maybe better by the time I've bought a few reps if I end up disappointed to finance a gen watch

It's just a matter of time.

All of us start out (in this hobby) really keen on getting the latest/greatest rep.

Then some graduate to the so-called Super Reps and some even go all the way to Franken Territory.

Then we discover the practical beauty of Seikos, Deep Blues, Christopher Wards, Longines, Omegas et al..........and go full circle back to gen watches.

The novelty of getting the latest rep wears off once you've acquired a couple of decent gens in your collection.
