SOLD - 54 - Jewlery Box - Silky Oak

Recommended Posts

Ok..this is the last of the sale items on trial.

No...I am not making boxes yet.

No...I will not be customising said boxes.

These have been made by my Dad, while he recovers from a pretty serious illness.

I suggested to him as a motivator, that I might see if there's any interest on the board for such items.

Watch boxes, may be a future possibility, later ...much later this year. :kma:

Until then, these jewelery boxes are rather fetching.

All have been finished with Danish oil and sand paper, followed by carbanura wax.

This one (54) is a made from Silky Oak.

All brass fittings, with Dovetail corners and a fitted top. A little shorter in profile, but very practical.

Lined with a Felt bottom (not that my bottom's been felt lately)

$80usd + freight (currently guessing $25usd by normal airmail - will confirm)

Is it waterproof? Does it come with factory lume? Does the felt come in a slightly different shade?

Who cares. Can I buy this one please. MrsM has her birthday at the end of the month!

Hope your dad is on the mend.
