meenahman 0 Posted January 16, 2017 Hi all - I'm the market for a gold or rose gold PAM. Before I get hammered for not using the search ( ), I have read and re-read ALEs fantastic PAM guide to find the highest quality reps, then done searches on the forum to see if any of you have bought these watches and what your opinions are, then searched the trusted dealers (cross referencing the makers from ALEs list to make sure that I have the right ones!). I have whittled down the list 2 two, but before I pull the trigger, I'm out here to find out if the community has any other recommendations / experiences with these watches: PAM 511 This one seems the most popular - A few members on the forum has this and looks beautiful in the photos. http://www.kuvarsitwatch.co/kw-products/panerai/panerai-8-days-pam511-rose-gold-best-edition-p.5000-movement-from-kw/ PAM 231 I can't find anywhere on the forum anyone who owns this or has posted photos (unless i was searching the wrong search terms!). ALE rates this one highly, and I really love the look of this. http://www.kuvarsitwatch.co/panerai/radiomir/1-1-best-edition-panerai-radiomir-pam231j.by-h/ Question to you: - Can anyone recommend any other nice Gold or Rose Gold Pams that I missed whilst searching ALEs guide? - For those owners of the 511s (hopefully you read this lol), how are your watches looking these days? Would you recommend buying the 511? Thanks!

sogeha 6 Posted January 16, 2017 Your money, your choice mate. I read a blog on genuine Panerai today which said something along the lines of the two hand Pams being the essence of a Pam, with the prominence given to the dial, that the wire lug Radomir cases are thinner and therefore a touch more elegant and lend themselves to being a dress watch. All of this seems pertinent to a gold model in particular, so I would go with the second.

Agree it's definitely a beautiful dress watch, and something I've really been lacking in my humble collection of divers! Just out of interest, what blog was it that you were reading? I feel stupid that I missed so many others! Although my heart is pushing me for the 511 ! I'm trying to convince my bro to get one of the others so that I can compare Will keep you updated!
