michaelm 1 Posted January 19, 2017 (edited) Ordered a Big Pilot from Andrew on New Year`s Eve and received it today. He is a really fast Shipper. The process in detail: 31.12. - order 31.12. - QC pics 01.01. - approved pics 06.01. - watch was posted 11.01. - watch left hongkong for uk 14.01. - watch was delivered in uk 15.01. - on its way to germany gls 18.01. - handed to gls uk 19.01. - arrived The whole communication was fast and friendly. I am really happy with this watch. Everything looks really good and on the wrist it feels very nice. I recently checked for the Gen in a local store in Hamburg and realized, that this watch is not to big for me. It´s perfect. Ok - the font is from the older model (and not as bold as the gen) , but when you have no side by side comparison i will doubt you will recognize the small difference. The plane on the back was my only concern when i checked the QC pics. At some angles the background around the plane looked kind of irregular and messy. But as always (or better ... like the last time), the flaws in QC pics are not so big when holding the piece in the hand. The strap looks really good but not as perfect as the gen. No wonder but no need for a replacement. I checked the watch with timegrapher (for ios) and got the same good values as Andrew: Rate -6 / Beat error 0.1ms / Amplitude 318deg Now its time for pictures. watchcraze 3 Posted March 4, 2017 (edited) Thanks Gentle. I am so torn between either this or the Portuguese. The only thing holding me back is the size of Portuguese. Wish that one was 46mm like this one!! But I like the look of that better than Pilot and have other high end gen Pilot's too. Movement wise, how is the 52111 in these Pilot's? Is the sweeping second needle identical to gen's? I know the modified movement in Portuguese is quite good being the 79350. EDIT: Screw it. Enough thinking. Going with the Portuguese.
