NCRich 13,741 Posted January 21, 2017 I knew I could do better and one of my friends asked if I would do them a Milgauss so I had another chance. This is a far superior mod. First one I've done where it actually turned out like I visualized. Blind squirrel and acorn you know.

NCRich 13,741 Posted January 22, 2017 VERY, VERY nice mate Out of interest, how do you brass the bezel Rich? You have to heat it with a propane torch. It is kind of a learned thing in terms of time. Too long and it turns too dark almost like gun blue. You can go back to stainless mechanically but it is a pain. You have to stop short of what you think is right because it will continue to change. NCRich 13,741 Posted January 22, 2017 Mint that, whats the base watch? Its one of the vintage watches you can get from any dealer. I got this from Marvellous Replica. 21j is $100. It comes with 3 or 4 different dials.

GC 4,461 Posted January 22, 2017 When I was 5 years old I lived next door to an electrical engineer that worked for General Electric "GE". I remember three things about that neighbor: first was that I had a crush on his beautiful wife (yes at 5 I was enamored), second was that he was the first person to own an Atari console on the block, and lastly that he wore a watch with a lightning bolt second hand... This is the watch

blueoysterboy 17 Posted February 19, 2019 Interesting, so Rich, your build appears to be a bit of a fantasy with the numbered bezel and the lightning bolt sweeper. Was that your intent?
