dave47 6,553 Posted February 5, 2017 And here's my gym watch for a chuckle. Doing the stair challenge at work this morning. GREAT gym watch, Mr Stubbs! I have a submariner version. Rugged! It even showers with me sometimes. I wouldn't wear something expensive to the gym; that's where these Casios come into play. dave
dave47 6,553 Posted February 5, 2017 Same watch but on a Super Engineer today. For about $130 the quality has surprised me. VERY BEAUTEOUS, my friend. I HAVE to ask: brand name? I'm having a brain fart as I type this, heh! dave
dave47 6,553 Posted February 5, 2017 Still like this "military moon watch"! That IS a very nice looking piece, Del! I'm really impressed with some of the time pieces FOSSIL has been producing lately; I have two of them -- mostly inspired by your pieces. dave

WatchDog21 3,345 Posted February 5, 2017 Same watch but on a Super Engineer today. For about $130 the quality has surprised me. VERY BEAUTEOUS, my friend. I HAVE to ask: brand name? I'm having a brain fart as I type this, heh! dave Thanks Dave. This is a homage of the Seiko SBBN015 and is refereed to as the Sharkey. So far I am quite impressed with its quality, especially for it's inexpensive price point of less than $200 delivered! I am not sure what movement it has in it but it is an auto and is keeping pretty darn accurate time. Very solid watch, nothing cheap feeling about it. I would say that the rubber strap that comes on it is 95% of the Seiko rubber strap quality; again nothing cheap feeling about it and comfortable to wear Others have reported that is is water resistant enough to swim with but I have not personally. There is a lengthy thread on it over here on WUS. I have been planning on the purchase of a Seiko MM300 but this one has scratched that itch for now.
Mr Stubbs 0 Posted February 5, 2017 As I'm wrapping a SOG Instinct Mini with a 1 1/2" blade. It's smaller than my watches.
