toddster63 0 Posted March 17, 2011 Got my first rep today (PIC BELOW), a Omega Pro Chrono clone with the A7500 movement(seconds at 9 o'clock)... Question though... I'm use to diving watches (Seiko) where you have to unscrew the main crown and then pull out the stem to set the date and time... But with the Omega I think I hear winding while unscrewing the crown stem, and I think this is the way this movement works, the manual winding if needed... So my question is (before I try out the alternatives and ruin the movement), do I need to unscrew the crown with this watch, and then pull and set the time, or am I winding when I think I am trying to unscrew the crown/stem? I can't seem to pull the stem out with unscrewing? Does the direction (toward 12 o'clock versus toward 6 o'lock) of screwing the crown matter? Can someone tell me the correct procedure (a mini manual) of working with the A7500 in this Omega, in term of winding and setting the time and date...?
