jdoe 0 Posted March 19, 2011 (edited) Thought I'd alert you to a watch that may change your perception of time, at least it did for me. Not a Rep, but still worth considering. It is a combined digital/analog, where the analog is a 24h one hand watch. It will provide information on Sunrise and Sunset according to your location (moonrise and set too) Solar compass, local tide, and I don't know what more.. I find the sunset, sunup feature just the best thing around. Now it they could only come up with a fully mechanical version A couple of reviews: http://www.luminous-landscape.com/reviews/...ories/yes.shtml http://watchreport.com/2005/01/review-of-t...zulu-watch.html Mine is a (Cheaper) Cozmo24, but think I may upgrade to the larger Zulu one of these days day. jameo210369 0 Posted March 19, 2011 My laptop does all that, a watch is for telling the time and is good on the eye. That is a brick with a strap. Nice find though jdoe
jdoe 0 Posted March 19, 2011 no compass or thermometer? gawd that thing is ugly! Agreed, it IS ugly. Compass is solar, which means you have to think to figure out where north is. However no thermometer
jdoe 0 Posted March 19, 2011 (edited) My laptop does all that, a watch is for telling the time and is good on the eye. Question is: what is time? or rather What is our perception of time? As said this thing changed my view on that subject. Sure is a brick with a strap! Edited March 19, 2011 by jdoe
