AllergyDoc 40 Posted March 22, 2009 It's rainy today so I decided to fish the tripod out of the closet and affix the Tamron 90mm macro lens to the Nikon D80. Dust particles are practically impossible to remove completely!

swissaddict 0 Posted March 22, 2009 I've been hoping for a close-up of that pearl.. it's actually not bad. Great pics as usual, AD.
AllergyDoc 40 Posted March 22, 2009 My only complaint with the Sub continues to be the clasp. It doesn't lay flat. I've emailed George about it. Hopefully he'll have a solution.

RolexAddict 1 Posted March 25, 2009 (edited) Great pics Doc, I would like to have mine as sharp as yours, Just one thing bothers me now about this watch : The finish and details are much better than on the gen. I was to a AD recently and had gen Subs in my hands, they actually look cheap machined and assembled with lot of little flaws, for exemple, misaligned caracters on the dial. I am quite sure if people would compare your pics with the same macro shoots of a gen, they would say the WM9 is the gen.. I don't know how we can consider this, good or disturbing somewhere Edited March 25, 2009 by RolexAddict
