dave47 6,512 Posted March 21, 2017 Happy Monday, all! Hope all those mates affected by the blizzards are successfully dug out and can now move! Today's ride: this old INVICTA Pro Diver (Model # 8926) I've had for a while & is not in the regular rotation. For an oldie, it performs quite well & has a much improved cyclops over the date window, as compared to very older models. Supposed to be 200m water resistant, but I've never had it in the drink. dave:

Genius 281 Posted March 21, 2017 Liking this very much ... but can't decide on black or blue; and no, not getting both. I Really like the blue pelagos and still tempted to get one but in the back of my head there is something telling me there is too much text on the dial and it would bug me too much

dave47 6,512 Posted March 22, 2017 Hi, Gang! For Tuesday, another classic INVICTA Pro Diver watch, this time the Model #8928, TT with the coin edged bezel. It IS a great looking watch; and the last time I wore it on one of the cruises, one passenger mistook it as a ROLEX (from across the room). Such things as these are why INVICTA was sued by ROLEX. I KNOW there are mates that detest INVICTAS, and I can understand that with some of the fugly, over-sized monsters they make; but give the Devil his due -- the Brand DOES make some classic beauties -- I know because I have NINE (9) of them. If I believe they were ugly and unreliable, I wouldn't have so many. This TT beauty is almost eight (8) years old. dave:

Stay dry, my friend. dave
