addibegi 0 Posted April 28, 2017 Hi I just bought a 1887 and finally i'm happy. I don't exactly what is the factory but I don't care. Below my comments about the quality. It's a valjoux model : weight 132grs (I have a 38mm gen Lonignes and the weight is 125g so it's quite similar) and it's a 43mm diameter( ousitde the bezel. Sometimes it's a 41mm but the gen model is a 43mm) In order to see the quality, i made close-up shots (x8 with my Sansung S6) As seen numbers angraved seems correct even if sometimes the 0 is not perfectly sharped. The red of the start push button is pretty good No sunked DW, and you can see that the vertical lines on the outside are well designed and precise A non noticeable flaws whitout zooming is the G arrows which are not pretty defined, specially the horitonzal one some digits are not perfectly aligned, specially the 5 on the 15. Hands are painted whith lume. On the left a rep speedmaster. The shot has been made after a 5min light exposure. on the caseback, the scews are not painted in blue as it can be found on some reps. It's a pretty good thing cause gen models are not painted! The TAG logo is not well designed. Zooming on it shows a A not pretty fine. I heard that in some models the I is missing on the SWIIS engraved around the caseback. On my model it's well writen. The serial number is also good CAR2A11. Sometimes the number engraved is the one of the 1st version (generally the black color) and use for the other version. Nothing to tell on the buckle, even if a seem a little cheap. I need to put some oïl drops because the push buttons didn't work well The strap smell leather (the Inside side) and I am not sure that the ouside was leather). However the strap is not as flex as a gen one Sorry if I made some English mistakes but this is not my mother tongue and i'm not perfectly fluent in english
