Got this new VS Factory PAM213 1950 FlyBack Rattrapante Chronograph with Real Rattrapante movement from TrustyTime. Efficient dealings and all arrived quickly and as promised.   PhillyRock made a safari giraffe leather strap for it. Here is the wristie......               Rattrapante (from the French ratrapper - to recover) is called in German a doppelchronograph and is a split second double chronograph movement that would allow you to check lap times of a runner or swimmer without stopping the overall timing.   Hitting the pusher at two oclock starts the fun, when the you want a split time you hit the pusher at 8. Pressing the pusher at 8 again allows it to catch up with the overall second hand. Hitting the pusher at two will stop the chronograph, both hands, and hitting the pusher at 4 o'clock returns everything to zero. My video shows this on the rep.   Here are some pics of the movement. Modern rattrapante movements are based on an ETA Valjoux 7750. The original movements were made in the 1800s and Patek made the first wrist watch version in the 1920s.       Here is the rep with the main second hand (overall timing - has the lume) at 8 o'clock and the split second hand at 2 o'clock (this is the hand that will catch up with the one at 8 o'clock on hitting the pusher at 4 o'clock).
