AlphaLima 17 Posted May 14, 2017 Hi guys, can someone help me out? The crystal has exploded in my 2006 Regatta Flyback model (blue hand) and I need to replace. After speaking to a number of dealers it's clear that the domed crystals are no longer a thing and can't be replaced. What size glass will I need to buy in order to get this watch functioning again. eBay has a range of domed glass, but I'm unsure what I need. I think it's 1.5ml thick at the edges and 36mm in diameter. Is that right? Thanks in advance for answering this tedious question.
BadPickle 2,749 Posted May 14, 2017 Is it the Pam 253? From memory I can recall a couple of threads with similar issues, I think one of them was the fine upstanding member grb, I can't recall who the other was, but it's worth a PM
AlphaLima 17 Posted May 14, 2017 It is indeed the 253 :(
mysterio 18 Posted May 18, 2017 Maybe ask Andrew about the PAM213 crystal. I know the watch was discontinued after 80 units because of the limited quantities of the movement, but maybe other parts like the crystals he can get. The PAM213 is of the same family as the PAM212/253/286 so it MAY be compatible.
