171796 2 Posted May 25, 2017 I'm looking for some inspiration or suggestions for a rep dresswatch with brown leather strap that I could wear to work. No rolex. No divers and no pams. I like tourbillons or open mechanics like Richard Mille's Nadal, but would wish those without logo for obvious reasons.

171796 2 Posted May 25, 2017 The IWC looks decent. The cartier ronde is a classic, but I'm a couple of decades too young for it I like the look of the rolex cellini. Omega aqua terra is also nice. Are there any alternatives or reliability views on the jlc tourbi? I think that one looks interesting and classy. Just need to remove the logo
WatchaholicMallorca 2 Posted May 25, 2017 What about the A Lange Tourbi? it is 41mm I think.

GenTLe 1,503 Posted May 25, 2017 If you are young for a Cartier you are waaaaay too young for a tourbillon then.

FL13 511 Posted May 25, 2017 40mm: Bulova Accuswiss 40mm: Hamilton Jazzmaster (Blue) Day/Date 38MM: Hamilton Intramatic Those are Three Genuine watches that can be had at the price of a GOOD rep ($300-500). My 2cp.

171796 2 Posted May 25, 2017 My wrists are small. Budget is a grand. the Intramatic is good looking but Seiko, hamilton and Glashutte are not in my interest, rather have no logo than something that sounds like walmart ;) Regulator is nice, but the upper dial font makes it look retard. I like the aesthetic look of the Cellini, yet an interesting movement to look at would be even more amazing; a tourbillon would be a extraordinary

FL13 511 Posted May 25, 2017 Nomos Orion 38mm Hand Wind. In-House movement. Dressy. Used they go for right around $1000. 38mm with long lugs will wear larger, but won't be big.
FL13 511 Posted May 25, 2017 Alpina makes nice dress watches. Here is a Gen Chrono for sale . 41mm case. http://forums.watchuseek.com/f29/fs-only-blue-alpina-alpiner-chronograph-4343530.html and here is my Grey Alpiner (41mm) (Paid like 350 used)
GenTLe 1,503 Posted May 25, 2017 the Intramatic is good looking but Seiko, hamilton and Glashutte are not in my interest, rather have no logo than something that sounds like walmart ;) Glashutte is a terrific historical brand, from 1845... Saying it sounds like "walmart" is rather offensive... And about Seiko, a Grand Seiko high beat is an incredible piece of manufacture and goes for ~5/7000US$:

Great watch but no way in hell you're picking one up for a grand! Cheapest I've seen on the second hand market is $1500. The 35mm on the other hand you might find around that price range...
