BREGUET XXI

Recommended Posts

OK, here we are...

Spotted on some fishy website on Sunday morning, sent request to my sweet girl Mary (yes, she's back with her own business) on Sunday evening, got availability confirmation on Monday morning, paid in an hour, watch was shipped next day, and yesterday, Friday 10am it knocked my door.

I saw a few Breguets XX on sites, but they're 39mm, wouldn't fit my 8" wrist well, so, I wanted XXI model, that entered the World last year, and one factory repped it just recently.

Arrived by EMS, well packed, with Custom permission stamp, and showed precise Bejing time.

I's Quartz Chrono (no A7750 model available yet), beautiful RG case, checkered black dial, gold hands and caseback.

Extra long thick, padded strap, made from very soft genuine crocko leather with gorgeous camel suede on the inner side, well printed "Breguet" and "Genuine Leather" words on it.

It's 42mm case, with beautiful fluted caseband, 12mm thick, very elegant looking, and it's quite heavy.

Caseback has all appropriate marking, and looks very nice.

As I said before, it's quartz, so, chrono works just perfectly. Pushers works very smooth, and changing the time was a pleasure - hands moves very smooth, without any lag.

When I finished shooting pictures in my living room, I went outside to make a wrist shot. It took, maybe, 10 seconds on the sunlight. When I came back to my house, where's plenty of lights too, I noticed, that hands glowing, like crazy. I shoot a picture in the corner of the room, in just a lil bit darker place, and you can see outstanding lume on the last picture.

Pros:

Very elegant, classy looking watch.

Proper size for my wrist, and not too thick.

Fantastic lume!!!

Price - $65. BARGAIN.

Cons:

Bezel doesn't rotate, but has lumed triangle.

No "B" engraving on the crown.

Quartz, not auto, but to me it's a plus - I don't wear watch every day, so, no need to wind mov't and reset day/date/ every time.

Overall:

Great everyday beater for the bucks.

Cudos to my sweet girl - great service!!!!!!!!

Enjoy the pictures.

Thanks for sharing, great pics.

Mary is my personal dealer for a year already, but you have to ask ADM. permission or approval to introduce her again, because I was beaten heavily, and accused of shilling for her, despite of every second member actively shilling for Josh.

So, if ADM will ask me (with nod!) to introduce Mary again - I'll do it with pleasure. She is fantastic dealer. Ops... I did it again...
