dave47 6,477 Posted June 24, 2017 Hi, Gang! HAPPY FRIDAY TO ALL; hope the weekend is pleasant. For today, my usual "two-fer:" mainstay watch and rep gym watch: mainstay is another inexpensive quartz watch featured in the "20 of less; let's see them thread on WUS: Link: http://forums.watchuseek.com/f71/20-dollars-less-lets-see-them-936070-30.html It's a nice looker, 46mm (w/ c) x 13mm, and 113 grams with mesh bracelet. Clean dial and small date window (that can use a cyclops to aid us older guys), decent mesh bracelet; the motor is a Chinese one that is well respected, according to what I've read; unfortunately, I've forgotten the name and am too tired to pop off the case back to look. I'll try to do that tomorrow. The gym watch is one of the first reps I purchased M2M on RWI when I joined back in October of '09; I remember the sale: mate had purchased several of these for his friends, who then backed out; their loss is my gain. Nice looker with excellent dial details and weight (ca. 140 grams). Love it and wear it occasionally, besides to the gym. dave: NAVIFORCE: BREITLING SUPER OCEAN:

dave47 6,477 Posted June 25, 2017 Hi, Gang! For Saturday, this old ROLEX DATEJUST TURN-O-GRAPH TT on jubilee I literally have not worn in years. I came across it while going through an old watchbox; it was purchased back in late '09 or early '10 from a now defunct website I was using when I discovered RWG. It's very intriguing, has a rotatable bezel, which I used to time my walk at the Mall, has the Rolex coronet engraved at the 6 o'clock position (while I didn't know was there -- until recently) and has an engraved rehaut which, again, I had no idea was there until recently. Being a long time RWG member, I''ve since learned about such things. At one time, I had TWO Turn-o-Graphs; now, only this one. Neat-o! dave:

EPSON CORP NF 32A movement, a company that has links to SEIKO. From my readings/research on the Web, this company makes a lot of very good and affordable quartz movements for a lot of watches sold through out Asia. I'm satisfied. dave
