rawbaws 91 Posted June 24, 2017 Hi russ. What's the width. Judging by your thumb about 32mm?
RussP 22,190 Posted June 24, 2017 Rory, I believe that it is 36mm, just like the date-just.

MAJ75 922 Posted June 24, 2017 That's a real cracker Russ, I too have an affection for the Enicar brand though I don't own one just yet. The condition looks superb. Well done mate & enjoy it!
Daywatch 4 Posted June 24, 2017 Nice one, looks stunning in the sunshine.
RussP 22,190 Posted June 24, 2017 Theyre a good old 'un Enicar Ive got one somewhere lying around in my collection with an octagonal crystal Maybe once you get your hands on it, we could have an Enicar thread, Reg? I've got 3 of 'em now...................and the itch is starting to make it's presence felt.........................
Piccolo 673 Posted June 24, 2017 If the various watch blogs/websites keep pushing Enicar like they're being paid for it then this'll be worth more than a DJ in a year or two mate... Looks in very good condition - nice pick up :)

Looks in very good condition - nice pick up :) I purchased it as NOS, still has the sticker on the back n all.

Khronos 1,339 Posted August 17, 2017 @RussP : I love the look of this watch, great find! I also "need" one, but I can't find a name or a reference of this particular model. Can you please help me out? Oh, and that Bulova Super Seville you got...lovely, just lovely!
RussP 22,190 Posted August 17, 2017 Not sure if I've posted a pic of the silver dial variant, so here goes.......... This is an Enicar Exquisite................enjoy !!
Khronos 1,339 Posted August 17, 2017 Oh, OK. I thought that the Canadian seller on eBay just made the name up Lovely these
RussP 22,190 Posted August 18, 2017 23 hours ago, Khronos said: Oh, OK. I thought that the Canadian seller on eBay just made the name up Lovely these He might have.................I was merely quoting him. Montre48 is the seller.
Khronos 1,339 Posted August 18, 2017 I see. This could be true, because I haven't seen this name mentioned anywhere else. I'm torn between this and the Bulova Super Seville...but this sort of thing happens all the time...
RussP 22,190 Posted August 19, 2017 Having owned both, I'd get the Super Seville...........just my opinion.
Khronos 1,339 Posted August 20, 2017 In what way do you find the Super Seville better than the Enicar?
Khronos 1,339 Posted August 29, 2017 @RussP Would you say that the build quality is significantly better in Bulova Super Seville? I almost got one yesterday, but some bastard beat me by 2€... I don't understand people who bid like idiots 5 days before the auction is over anyway...or even hours..I always bid 10 seconds before it's over.
RussP 22,190 Posted August 29, 2017 I agree with your bidding strategy, but it isn't always possible to be 'watching' every auction finish. As for the choice.......the Bulova just seems slightly better 'put-together' overall, hence my choice. Good luck with the next one that comes up on auction. Russ.
