Del 4,463 Posted July 18, 2017 I posted the other day about the Certina DS Action Chronograph Precidrive that I bought while on holiday in Tenerife. http://www.rwg.bz/board/index.php?showtopic=132427 Unfortunately, the watch had a problem and was losing time so the shop took it back and I bought the DS Action Automatic instead. :) Similar blue colour to the Precidrive, similar spec too at 43mm but with an ETA 2824-2 inside. Different bracelet too, which I think I actually prefer. Some quick pics here:-

WatchDog21 3,345 Posted July 18, 2017 Unless it was just a matter of the light not hitting the dial just right on the first one I like this one better, looks to be a blue sunburst.

NFleischer 4,355 Posted July 18, 2017 That looks good Del, somewhat like the Longines Hydroconquest range. Lucky you were still there to trade it in. Weird, a new quartz losing time.
Sakurai 1 Posted July 18, 2017 Very nice, love it! Am I correct to assume the bezel markings are lumed? If so, that's wicked!
Del 4,463 Posted July 18, 2017 Thanks all. That looks good Del, somewhat like the Longines Hydroconquest range. Lucky you were still there to trade it in. Weird, a new quartz losing time. Yes, pleased I bought at the start of the holiday! It was very strange with the quartz. I thought I'd set it incorrectly the first time (by 5 minutes!) so carefully reset it and the next day it had lost about a minute and a half so there was certainly something amiss. The shop then tested it for a day and it was ok (go figure!) but by then I didn't trust it so they agreed to exchange it for the auto. :) Very nice, love it! Am I correct to assume the bezel markings are lumed? If so, that's wicked! Yes, first 20 minutes. Looks great! ;)
