I'm hesitant about this watch because of the faux chrono and the fact that it doesn't have a weekday function. I find it hard to get really keen on any watch without that. (It's why I don't wear my gen B&R Hydromax.)

 

But the leopard design would be very entertaining, so even with no weekday or chrono I think I really ought to have one in my collection. It's a little bit of history - easily the most OTT, bizarre watch Rolex has ever made IMO. Can you imagine the meeting at which all these sensible Swiss approved the design?

You'll most likely find that one of the sub dials is a date indicator, its not labeled though so totally useless

I don't think any high level brands like Rolex/AP really want to be known as a "rapper brand". If they wanted that, don't you think they would be sponsoring Lil Wayne instead of Formula One drivers? These brands do well without the need to pander to the rap market

Although the brands do sometimes make very limited runs if these types of watches, many are aftermarket jobs as well. Someone buys a GMT II or a Submariner stock model and then goes to their jeweler to bling it out. People see these things and assume the came direct from Rolex, but most don't.
