Aren 27 Posted March 29, 2011 Today, a very generous gentleman I know gave me a beautiful watch. I am so stunned and excited. I still can't believe it. I have been admiring the RG PAM Blackseal for some time now. I didn't think I would be getting one. At least, I knew I wouldn't be able to be buying one. I am stunned by how beautiful it is. It is really lovely. I can't see the little numbers, letters and symbols on each corner on the back of the case. I need a magnifying glass to see them at all and still can't make them out. I can't get pictures of them either, but that doesn't matter. I can't even get the colour of this pretty watch right. I did my best. I wish I could take better photos. My photos are always such crap. Every time I think I have captured a good photo it isn't good for one or (usually) more reasons. I decided that taking a photo on my wrist just wasn't going to work, but the photos of the watch in my hand still can't do it justice. This watch is just gorgeous. It is different from my other PAMs. The deployment clasp is quite heavy. I didn't photograph it, but there is a little PAM symbol stamped into the leather strap. The same symbol on the crown. Here I tried to photograph the watch next to the plant: Here I tried to minimize the reflection and photograph under the plant: After these failures, I decided to take the watch off and hold it to try to be able to move it around to compensate for the reflections. Here I tried to photograph with the natural light coming through the window: Here I tried to photograph with the natural light behind me: Here I gave up on the natural light and photographed it against my clothes dryer: This watch has a nice lume, but if I try to photograph it, the camera flashes. Anyway, the watch is beautiful and I am very grateful to have it. I am sorry I can't show you in the photographs how beautiful it is. ohhh noooo....the boss here is going to be upset with me because I didn't resize the photos. Please forgive me. I wasn't thinking about my nails, but now having looked at them I can see the ridges of stress. I can't see them without reading glasses. I also see that I have no moons on my nails...That is not a good sign. It means I either have a vitamin B deficiency (very common for a vegetarian) or hypothyroidism. Glad I looked at my nails now. I have been remiss. I had a firm grip on the PAM for the lighting. Would not have looked at my nails if not for the photos. I should have made my nails look better. I am a low maintenance female...no manicures for me. I was only concerned with how the lovely watch looked, but thanks Del and DB. I believe I need a vitamin B supplement.
